Give Yourself Grace
Hello there!
It’s me again, your esthi doing her weekly check-in. How are YOU?? Are you finding small pockets of time space to breath, stretch, or just be?
Rachel Ferraro Esthetics Update
As of now, I am still unsure when my doors will re-open. The school closings are what I am basing this decision on. Right now, my girls need me and I am more than happy to be there for them. Once they re-open, my doors will too and I will be there with bells on to welcome you all back with open arms—HUGS all around.
Thank you for all of your support in these last few weeks. Your texts and emails have been making me smile! Your continued support through my website—whether it be gift cards or stocking up on products—mean SO much. I am more than grateful.
Products
As of this week, I am running low on a few items, but I am hoping to be fully stocked in the next few weeks. I am expecting a shipment of Dawn Lorraine products today. My two most popular moisturizers--Green Tea Balancing Creme and Citrus Radiance Creme—will be back in full affect.
I am fully stocked with RFE Optimism, Clear, and Gratitude though!
I’m excited to announce that I am placing an order this week for a brand new suncare line that I am SUPER excited about. Stay tuned for that announcement on Facebook and Instagram.
Plus, I’m also dipping my toes in the water into the CBD skincare world. I will be trying those products out this week, so I will update you on that soon, as well.
And don't forget to use the code SELFCARE to get 10% OFF all products and that you will get FREE shipping on orders over $75!
Turn Off Your “Pressure Cooker”
Have you felt the pressure to complete some crazy to-do list while you have the time at home? Or maybe you feel pressure to teach a full day of school while working full time from home. Are you trying to dive into a new hobby or exercise routine and maybe it’s just not coming to fruition?
Well, it’s time to let this pressure go—turn your pressure cooker OFF! We are in an unprecedented time. This not a staycation or something any of us have chosen. It is UNFAIR to put that much pressure on yourself to accomplish ANYTHING right now.
Let. It. Go.
Give yourself some grace and allow yourself time to feel whatever it is that you are feeling.
My Day Today...
I am writing from my kitchen table with my children playing a board game with my husband. He is home now too. Shutting his construction business down was a huge decision. However, we are making the best of it. I actually was able to get out for a run this morning for the first time in a long time. It felt great! Today has been a good day, so far.
Have all of my days looked like this? Let’s get real—that’s a “no.” My business has been shut down for three weeks now. Some days have been fun-filled and productive. Others have been tough, exhausting, stressful, overwhelming, and carb-filled! Chocolate chip cookies have become a regular snack in our house and I am completely okay with this.
Some days I get a few “school lessons” in for my girls and other days I don’t. Some days I get some research done on what’s up and coming in the skincare world and other days I spend way too much time looking through Instagram. And yes, I DO let my children watch TV and get caught up on their favorite shows too! It’s all okay. However you choose to navigate through your day—it is okay!!
Moving forward during this time
Give yourself some grace. You can do all of the things or none of them. Just try to smile and laugh, at least once a day. Be grateful for your health. Connect with people that lift you up. Ask for help if you need it.
Take care of yourself, however that looks to YOU!
With so much gratitude,
Rachel
